Day 1: Improvise

The Transformation Challenge is off to an unusual start! I had every intention of going to my first class back in several months, and the first class of my goal of four per week of the 8-week challenge, BUT we received an incomprehensible amount of snow, which closed the studio (and most of the city).

I had to do an improvised workout; shoveling 15” of snow from the sidewalk and alley. I wore my monitor to track the activity. I’m interested to see how it compares to a normal workout. I’m still feeling nervous about finding my rhythm again, but we’re just rolling with the punches at this point! Take two will happen on Wednesday.

I wore my heart rate monitor while shoveling for over an hour. Moving that much snow took a bit of work.
